i have a 1957 allis chalmers d14 with rotted rims .it has 13.6x26 inch tires on it now  i found a line on some rims off a back hoe. they are 14.9x24 tire and the rim is 13x24. will these rim fit without hitting the final drive gear reduction housing bolt pattern and hub diameter are correct. and what would theses be worth tires about 25% worn and rims are not rotted.

With 24's you will be driving up hill all the time.  Try and find a set of 28's. I put 28 on my D14 and they look fine.

 A set of 16.9 x24's would look great, and would work OK on 13" rims tho 14 or 15 would be more better. Will the offset work for you ?  If you can get them reasonable , , maybe $300, or so , I'd go for it and sell the 14.9'a and look for 16.9's Those backhoe tires are prolly 10 or 12 ply which you don't need.   Why not just use some 14.9 x 26s instead of changing the wheel size? If you go to 28s or 24s you're going to have a tractor that's too high or too low in the back. If you want to keep the Power-Shift wheels you'll need different wheels and rims and tires and all, not to mention the wheel lug patterns matching. I don't understand going to 24s because 24s have a 5 or 6-bolt lug pattern on the wheel, and are way undersized for a D14.
  14.9 x 26s are all the tire a D14 could ever want for farm work--they will hold a D15II very well, and a D15II is a heckuva lot more powerful than a D14! They may kiss the fenders when pulled all the way in, but the fenders can easily be raised. With 28s the fenders will hit the tires if the fenders aren't raised for Power-Shift wheels.
  If you're just looking for economy and don't care what the tractor looks like with bastard wheels, then go for it! I'm just making a suggestion. Good luck!

Like R Aiken says, not hard to repair the original rims. I just repaired the valve stem areas on my D17. I just sliced out a couple sections on another wheel and welded them in on the originals. The first one turned out pretty good. If you know there is a patch there,  you can find it. The second one can't be seen at all. For cutting I used a cutoff wheel made for a Skill saw. If you're good with a torch, that would be easier.

the rim are totally rotted there is no repair. i just dont want to buy rims for an obsolete tire size which are the 26 inch tires

I think that they will work fine, and 14.9x24 is a size that will be around as some center pivot irrigation sprinklers use this size currently. Kip
