Hi everyone, My husband and I recently inherited a Allis Chalmers D15. We have found some information on this tractor through searches on the internet, but he is unsure if we can put a bucket on this tractor, he would like to get one(mainly for snow removal) and recently found a really good deal on one. Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, assuming it's the right loader. A #14 loader, or #17 loader would likely fit it dependig on the year. Loaders for these tractors were for most part universal. If your tractor has one-way hydraulics, it will only be able to run the trip-type loader unless it is converted to run two way. If it is two way, it will work with a full hydraulic loader. With a trip loader, there is no "down pressure" so you can not "push" the loader down, gravity does the work. the same with the bucket, only you pull a spring loaded lever to "unlatch" the bucket, gravity or weight inthe bucket causes it tp "dump" Some you have to lower the bucket to the ground to "re set" it, others have return springs. If you get a loader with a 40" manure bucket, in order to efficiently move snow, you will also either need to find a replacement snow-bucket, of find the factory extensions. I also reccomend some sort of HEAVY ballast (weight) on the back of the tractor unless the tires are loaded, and snow chains, or you will get nowhere when you have snow i the bucket. WD45, The 400 (last picture) is the fully hydraulic loader available for the D15. Okay well we looked up some 14 & 17 buckets, he found one that is 60"(picture posted below) he wants to look at it but wants to make sure it will fit.

This is the information from the listing:
Front end loader off my 1954 Ford Golden Jubilee NAA, will fit other utility tractors, worked good, not using it anymore. Step through frame,60" bucket probably from the 60s, ran on tractor hydraulics.
