Why would i keep going thru starter bendix on my 47 B I have put two in with in the last 2 years last time i had the starter rebuild My fly wheel has some wear I dont feel it is even close to needing replaceing when it engages it sounds fine no grinding or weird sounds went to start it the other day started fine shut it off went to start it again would not even try to engage starter rolls just fine at 50 bucks a pop im getting alittle p....d off any help in solving this problem would be a great help

Have you split the tractor and looked at the ring gear?  A fellow near me had a ring gear installed by an automotive garage on a B and they put the wrong gear  on the flywheel and it needed a different bendix to work properly. When they got it matched up it worked fine.
