5G used a longer truck frame, had a solid cross frame instead of equalizer spring, area for operator was smaller , shift lever different, running board area cut down for loader frame. smaller track grouser and smooth 3 bar type look.
Lot of work to change over to loader , also counterweights are needed to balance machine.

Mainly draw bar work , Ag tractors, pulling loads, with winch added - skidding logs,
see there are trunions welded onto truck frame so at one time liiks like it had a dozer blade on machine . at 50 HP and no slip should be able to pull about the same as 75 to 90 HP wheel tractor in plowing with little or no compaction.

Goatheads????? HAHAHAHA! there are those who say "what is a goathead?" I think all that rode bicycles as a kid in rural USA should and probably know what a goathead is,(they prey on old worn tires) they are also called puncture vine here in CA, One learns very quickly never to put one's hand on a tractor or baler tire and one must carry a carpet or cardboard to work under anything in an Alfalfa field, those little $#*$#$^%^ hurt like hell, especially in fingers and knees and bare feet. Since it seems as though everything that bites, stings or pokes Down-under is toxic to the extreme, they must have an equivalent to the goathead that will kill you in 30 minutes or less. What say you? (insert smiley face here). Tad

I didn't notice the bare feet till they were mentioned, but I did notice the dog. Seems like there is something of interest to the right of the picture.
