i have a 170 and have a couple  of questions bout the fluids . first has anyone used the tsc brand travellers fluid ?and what needs to be in the tranny and bull gears ?

Ive used it for years with out trouble. You want to use the universal transmission/hydralic (always had an orange label) The oil needs to be compatible with Allis Chalmers 821 power fluid

so i can use that in what places ? power director , power steering , and transmission etc ?

Use the universal in the power director, transmission and steering. Use 90 weight gear oil in the final drives.
