Guys: I have taken a shine to the IB's lately and am considering one for mowing. Would really love to see your pics of your IB's and any special features that came with them.
It would be great to see some of the real early ones say serial 1 - 260. As I understand it these were released without the Hough reinforcing frame, but it was available as optional equipment .
Did the IB early ones sell for more money than the regular B. Maybe the Wonderful Bill Long would know??

they look like they are inside out, perhaps to hide loop rims. I see 2 of the pictures have the bolt on rear center as oposed to the later style "B" wheel center. That would make it one of the early models. But 8 bolt? What is with that? Bob

I think I would put one on Ebay with an outlandish reserve on it just to see what some would pay for one. It would be worth it even with paying for the Ebay fee when it didn't sell

Ok Orangeman here's another one. This is a 1950 IB I owned for awhile. It was originally owned and maticulously restored by the late Charlie Felgar of Iowa. Wish I could still have it in my stable.

You guys should be proud of the nice work you have done on your IB's. Hope to join the IB club someday, and do a little mowing with it. What types of jobs do you do with your IB's?

Anybody can have one for what you would get on the open market for a good set of B front & rear steel, plus the wide fenders and 2" thick 4 notch hubs. Since I don't need any of those things, cash works for me.
I know what I have got for the couple that found new homes, and I am going to stick to that as the "value". It is not worth losing friendships over money, that is why I am sticking to that amount. That way one guy does not think I (favored/discriminated against) them over somebody else.
I had hoped they included one on the model from Hutch, but it turned out that a new mold was required, and the tooling costs would have been too great,

When I say open market, think LeSueur swap meet, not the retail pricing on those things.... It might not be as much as you were thinking.

The individual that stole the fenders from the previous owner, also took the rear fender mounts. If anyone has one apart and would not mind sending pictures and maybe a paper tracing, I would be quite appreciative.
