What color were these tach plugs in the D series when the tractors were new?

| just a hunch but I would say from the looks of the one by the key they were galvanized. Many parts on my 1963 wheelhorse were like that. |

| It was probably painted orange. All the ones that I have seen were earlier models, and were all orange. If that had been galvanized, it still would be, unless someone rubbed the zinc away. |
