ok the other day i seen a pic of a 1920's allis with what looked like a inj pump on a gas tractor.. or i was just not looking at it right does any1 no the model or have any pic of it

You probably saw what was known as an "oil" engine. They ran on diesel fuel, but used a lower compression ratio and spark plugs for ignition.

Hi acd21man they made a few track tractors the lo and so and ko motor was ingected diesel fuel into the cylinders and was ignited by spsrk plugs. cheers john

I think that AO is a one of a kind built by Dave Ferguson. I thought all the oil engines were either in crawlers or power units.

I thought I saw a tractor with the oil engine at the GOTO in Union Grove, Wi a few years back.
