I have my grandma's old push "Daddy Boy" out in the shed. It has a single wheel in front of two knife type blades. It works best if you can pull it with the lawnmower.

Yep the one i used has a big wheel and the two handles but the power source had two legs.
And the other type just had a long handle that was gripped tight and pulled with two arms .

I actually have several in my collection. One wheels and two wheels side by side and front and back. actually used the one wheel the other day with a lister shovel on it to plant potatoes. But the one pictured is really a nice machine to run.

I use the one with the handle that you have to power, I also have one with the big wheel with a 5 tine cultivator on it.

Cool old machine.

Here's what I use when I can't use my 25 year old garden tractor (2nd picture) and when the grandkids aren't "helping."

I'm not space "challenged" with my garden so I plant the sweet corn on 44" centers------leaving me room for the garden tractor and tiller or disk.
