Thought you all on here might like to see this. Local tractor drive, 87 tractors this year, down from 98 last year. Had 6 orange tractors from our family in the drive. Great time, great people! Started at the local township hall around 9 AM, went 35 miles, Made 3 stops along the way, and returned there for a hambuger hot dog cookout around 6 PM.

Don(MI), at our recent show after the parade of power an Allis owner asked  the guy announcing the tractors as they came by,  if next year the AC's could lead the parade.  Mr announcer being a John Deere collector wanted to know why he wanted the AC's in front.   The answer from the Allis owner.............to keep the oil and grease the John Deere's leak off his tires..........Tim

I couldn't agree more. My D17D is supposed to look like that one. I used to think the series 3 and 4 17's were the best looking, but now that I have an early one, I really can't decide which style is better.
