did anyone ever make a lock to lock both brake pedals together? Back when we had a WC. many years ago the foot brakes (aftermarket of course) there was a lever on the leftone you could flip over and lock the two pedals together. If you've ever seen anything like it for a WD i'd like to know. Been thinking of as way to make one but don't have a good plan yet.

I've never seen one. Thought a time or two about trying to make one like the F****ll H's, M's, etc had. It would have to go around the outside of the pedals instead of the way the F's did it.  Hope someone comes up with a good idea. I have a WD and a 45 and would like both of them to have it.

Why is there never time to do it right the first time, but always time to go back and fix it?

I thought they were factory on the 45's- mine has one.

They are talking of locking the pedals together so if you hit one, both brakes come on. I always thought this was a less than optimal way to use the brakes. It seems like there is always one that works better than the other and if they are locked together, particularly at road speed, you can go in a circle when you don't necessarily want to. The WD and 45 brakes work great the way they are on my tractor because I have a big enough shoe to catch both and tip my foot to add to more breaking to one or the other if needed.

When we roto baled with a WD, dad had a piece of angle iron that was made to fit over both brake peddles.

They did not make a brake interlock for the WD - WD45.  I remember the F****ll's had them for the H & M's but we never had a factory lock.  I have to agree brakes seemed to wear differently and we found it better to put your foot on both and you could twist it to even out the brakes.
If I recall it was not an issue on sales.
Good Luck!
