Ok, the 40 year old Ford LGT125 that I use for rototilling the veggie garden 'lost' it's PTO ujoint bearing.Wondered what was causing the sparks after 400'..sigh.
Get it home, into the shop, wear welders gloves to remove PTO from tractor...
Put in vice to knock out 'bearing cap' opposite the missing one..
Figure it'll take a zillion whacks to get her out, 3 bams later...shoot it's on the floor !
Spent 2 1/2 hours 'cleaning the shop' looking for the cap..
FOUND it, in one of the hollow cores of the 8' cinder block the shops made from.
Maybe I'll buy a lottery ticket !

So the lesson of the day, when building a shop, FILL in the blocks ! It might save you a few hours and lower your stress level !!

Like I said one of those dayze !
