Have a very old Allis plow that I would like to find shares for it. It started out as a 3X14 pin hitch plow behind a WD. Somewhere it got converted over to a 2 bottom plow with a snap coupler. The previous owner said one of the plows was removed and a snap coupler adaptor was bolted in place of the pin hitch coupler. The share has 3 bolts holding it on and is approx 4" wide. The back 2 holes are the same distance from the top and the front hole is a little lower. Polished the back of the blade with an angle frinder and paint stripper wheel and could only see what appears to be an "H". Thanks for any help that will allow me to obtain new shares for it.

The Weise link shown on this forum last week shows share dimensions. My AC plow bottoms book does not.
I'd think plow frogs would drill a lot easier than plow shares that could be hardened.
Have you a picture of the plow assembly from the bottom? I might be able to match up that picture with the illustrations in the plow bottoms book to get a range of share numbers.

Thanks Gerald It appears that Weiss's 14" share has 4 mounting holes; mine has 3 holes. Will contact them to see if they can help locate the share I want.

Use three holes that fit, plug the fourth with a bolt and nut or drill the frog to pass the fourth one.
On some plow shares the fourth bolt away from the nose of the plow bolted to a flat steel strap that bolted to the frog or to the moldboard when the frog was short.
