I have been stripping paint and grease off of the 1940 model B  and last night I was doing the final drive cover on the left side, when I went out this morning to let my dogs out I found a puddle of fluid.  I was not for sure where the puddle was coming from until I took a flashlight and saw it was coming from the final drive cover  after taking the cover off i found 4 pin holes  my question is this  what can I do to fix the hole.  Can I prime and paint the pin holes and it plug the holes or what else can I do? thanks Tim

Good replacement covers are cheap at any salvage yard. I'll bet if you put a request on the classifieds here, you'll get more offers than you can imagine, and at fair prices, too.
