Why do these people not how to propperly "unstuck" a loader tractor? I'm tired of seeing this happen. last fall I saw a loader tractor stuck in some relatively muddy dirt. Stopped and showed him a trick or two with that big bucket.

I read the manual on my Mta and it said Not to do that! Kinda laughed when I read it because of all the times Iv seen people do it!

Gotta agree. WD, dump the dirt, then use bucket to lift front end weight off ground, try to skid out on bottom of loader bucket, if that don't work, turn loader to full dump position, lift front of tractor off ground, roll bucket back while trying to back out. Simple!

So that how fenders get bent up!!! I have to "bucketwalk" everytime I bushog down near my creek. Farm boys just take for granted everyone knows this stuff.......

I've had to go to bil a few times when he rents a skidloader and gets it stuck, I tell him a skidloader is never stuck unless you can't reach bottom, he just can't seem to coordinate.

He wouldn't be stuck if he wasn't running slicks on the back of a loader tractor!!!

Is having to put the dirt back in the bucket really that hard? I think it would be easier than putting a new fender on the tractor.

Yeah, that's definately a FAIL. Fronts aren't mired in, so it's time to use the bucket.
I've got a 12hp Cub Cadet with a Workhorse FEL, and I've never had to try this stunt... I just do what everyone else does... full dump, down, and curl... lift up, full dump, down, and curl... it'll walk itself back out.

I had my MD stuck in mud up to the axles. Trying to rock it out didn't work so I just got another tractor to hook to the back and pull it out. It broke my 4 ton come-a-long ( I always thought it was cheap anyways). We don't have a loader tractor but I always think its better just to in that situation to at least get a shovel and make the hole "bigger" and the slope less steep and try to back or pull out.

Years ago I was at the County Land Fill. A guy there was operating a crawled loader, and was slightly stuck. I told him to do that, which he did and pushed himself back a ways, but instead of lifting the loader next he uncurled the bucked and pulled himself back to where he was. I just turn and walked away. You just can't fix stupid.
