My 180 has been worked a little harder recently pulling disc and drill, the power director seems to be dragging more than it used to; when I come to a stop in gear but disengage the director to keep the pto on for the mower it tries to continue to drive on is this adjustable out or am I seeing a failure coming on?

Could have some broken plates stacking up on each other  or some worped plates.  MACK

Would it still pull good if the plates are degrading?  It seems to do just fine in gear and working?

Possibly caused by wear in linkage between lever and control valve. Try adjusting linkage at control valve to obtain neutral.

We bought a 190 once that had a busted case on the PTO and no oil and it pulled itself up on the trailer because the plates were broke and jammed together.
