I think I know the answer but what does it mean when after sitting for roughly a day or more it takes around 3 seconds of cranking for smoke to start coming out the exhuast?  Once the smoke starts coming out it starts up soon afterward.  Mike

losing prime, probably a pin hole in a line, or possible the inlet check valve in transfer pump letting fuel drain back.
