Hey all, I am looking at new reproduction 16" rims for the WD. Are they made with heavy enough steel? Are they like the originals? I am putting the corn picker on her, and gotta make sure it can handle the weight. Thanks! Don

I got a set from Tony and they are heavy duty. I think they were made for loaders.

They are probably standard wagon rims which come in light and heavy weights. You need to match the offset too. Many places sell them, like Baum Hydraulics, Sloan Express, Shoup parts and the Radcliffe Iowa elevator rim shop. To say nothing about Unverforth, Weld rim and tire stores. Most truck rim shops have them or can supply them, there is an SAE standard for farm front and wagon/implement rims, so they aren't too far from a match.

Or he could just buy them from Tony, and know he is getting the correct rim.

I bought two sets. I did not get any from Tony I got them from downing tractor parts. They said they are for loader tractors. I made it with the first set about a hour and set two about 20 min. THEY ARE JUNK!!!!! Spent 175 a rim to have a big tire guy (bills tire) to cut the center out and put 1/2 " plate in. Never had a bit of trouble after that. Like I said they did not come from Tony so his might be better. I think the rims I bought that where "heavy duty" where 26 or 28 pounds. Eric
