Can someone tell me just what a three point hitch is good for! I get mad putting my 7'  three point hitch mower on or off the tractor, I back up to it and them need to move over one way or the other two or three times before its lined up right and I can hook or unhook a snap coupler implement and not get off the tractor, so just what in the heck is so good about the danged old three point hitch? lmao
I think I have removed all the bad words too. lol

There is a big difference between aftermarket 3 pt hitches and the modern factory ones.  The ones with lift arms that can be stretched out make hooking a lot easier.  I have never been able to hook up to my SC blade without getting off and yanking the blade around.  And after a few times putting the hitch on and off my WD switching from pull type to SC there is no comparison.  The SC was supirior in it's time and the modern 3 point is supirior now.

The 3ph may not be the best, but is univresally used, that is its advantage.

there is a lotmore three point equipment avaliable than Snap Coupler stuff. they don't make it any more. Very few tractors out here have three point either. most every thing is draw bar pulled. even with a draw barr they don't disconnect the equipment till the end of the season. you don't just wiggle a 110' wide harrow to get it connected.

I wouldn't use a 3 pt. hitch if someone gave me the best made at no cost!!  I think it is a sub-standard hitch.  Nothing beats the snap-coupler hitch..  Just my 2cents worth,  Phil
