Hey there.
I am looking to buy another wd45.
The guy selling it just told me, that when he pushes in the foot clutch, it seems to take for ever for things to stop rotating, to be able to put it in gear. He hadn't noticed that before, so this is something that just started happening. He said when you push in the hand clutch, that helps with gear engaging. He doesn't use the tractor much, so it sits. he talked to a couple of mechanics, and they say its from the tractor sitting, that there is a bushing that just isn't getting lubed up correctly. they said to run the tractor, and it should improve. He's been running the heck out of it, he changed all the fluids, and if it has improved, it hasn't improved much. Any thoughts? thanks. |

Sounds like you might have a sticky or siezed pilot bearing/bushing. Also if the clutch pedal goes way down when you use it the clutch could just be way out of adjustment and you are not disengaging it fully and its dragging instead of fully releasing. |

No belt pulley. I asked him if the PTO was accidentally engaged, because with all that extra turning, it would take a while to slow down, but that is not the case.

| Theres pins in the clutch release levers that like to fall out. Take plate off bottom of bellhousing and u can get to them had this happen on two different tractors. |
