That was the description on this tractor. Is that correct? Shouldn't this vintage AC tractor be green? I don't know these old tractors very well, but I'm curious.

I think Wheatlands is the name of the museum.
And I am pretty sure it should be green.

Yup, It would have been green from new. Fred and I went over the pre 29 trates a few weeks ago but i still don't have it straight. but i'm sure it is 1929 or before. ------------- The universal answer to all questions is yes, how much do you want to spend? |

It's a pre-1927 20-35 Longwing - a wonderful tractor and hard to find! It should of course be green and I'd love to have it in my shed!

The orange tractor , going by feature's on the tractor is a 1925 -26 year.
They had some of the same feature's doing the changing of these 2 years and this show;s a few of them !

| one in my shop is all green with a orange motor[original] have shoed many collectors an they just walk away with nothing to say was told by one fella that studies these that when took them back to repair them in 1930 [factory problems] they came back with orange motors was during change over my 2 cents |

My 1927 20-35 is of course green, but has traces of orange on the drive hubs - obviously it wore out the original ones and had them replaced during the orange era.

Seeing a Orange 1927 and up Short fender 20-35 is not bad looking.
Being the orange 25-40 is orange and they had alot of the same features.
But a Orange Long Fender in my opinion is just Ugly,.

Wonderful to have 3 longwings Fred! Those big old Allis tractors are just great - right from the 18-30, all the way through to the 30-60 Thresherman's Special!! I love 'em!
