Looks really nice. Make sure the wobblebox mounting bolts are all there and are tight, that is their weak point. I have a 904 which is very similar. Good find.

It looks a lot like a Hesston, did AC make them or buy them? Whichever it's parent is, it is a fine looking machine which I'm sure will do a great job for you. Congrats!

Great find Randy! I could find some room and hay for it at my place! lol
These were built by A-C at the LaPorte plant but look ALOT like Hesstons. Im not sure what if any connection is there.

Were all the mower conditioners built at Laporte ? I did not find any mention of where any were built in Swinford's book.

I have a Hesston PT7 which is I think the first of the Hesston moco's and the only thing I see that looks like Hesston is the reel bars. Even the drive for the reel is different. At first glance I thought it looked a lot like a Hesston too.JP

Nice Find!! Looks like it was make a few years ago, not almost 40 years. That what I would guess it to be for age. Same age as 444 & 442 balers etc. Let us know how it runs and how good of a job. Sold one in PA near groundhog town, for around $500.00 in no way junk, but not even close to that one for condition.
