Looking for 4 corn plates for this planter... think its a 500 series. Also, the seed boxes say "beet and bean" on them. Would I have any problems throwing corn plates in, and planting corn? Questions from a rookie! Thanks!!

Also, if someone has pictures of the front area with the fertilizer attachment assembly, that would help alot!

Here are my seed plates, I have the soybean plates. Could I change these plates to use temporarily for corn?

Your population would be way too high planting corn with bean plates. If that is the shape of your plates I may have some. Do you know what size you want?

It depends on your seed size and shape from small rounds (34-39#/unit) to large flats 59-65# per unit.

Those plastic centers are adaptors for John Deere plates. Should be readily available. I have the same setup on my 600 series. I have a manual if you need more info.

Make sure the seed knockers are working freely.

I am over by Caro not to far from you.

Go to lincolnagproducts.com. They have a complete line up of JD B plates that will work with the adapters you have.

No problem John. I will check with gary. Thanks!

On a side note, does anyone have the front bar with fertilizer attachments that I would need?

You can see in the picture, that I would need everything from the hose off the fert. box downward.

Also, I found out this is a model 505 planter, beet and bean. CH wendels book.
