I just bought a WD today. I think I did ok. It runs, Radiator leaks, wide front, factory Snapcoupler 3 point, good sheet metal except for the fenders that are bent on the rear and a cracked manifold (I think they came that way or happened shortly).
One oddity is the carb. It is an Ensign LP/gas carb.
I paid $990 with the mower. My wife thinks I'm nuts.

Did it come with 4 rear wheel weights?
Does it have a real factory snap-coupler 3 PH with the centerlink
bracket that clamps on to the rocker arm shaft?
If the answers are yes, you did mighty well!

Please send a few pics of the 3 PH adaptor and center link bracket.
Thanks and congratulations.

A WD is one handy little tractor, if I could have only one  unit a WD would be real close to the top.

It only has 1 set of rear weights. One wheel is spun in past the stop so ot looks like it has 2 sets.
It's a factory snap coupler 3 pt. The top link bracket is not factory however. At one time someone welded extra brackets on the lift arms, but later they were cut off.

I'd say you did well enough, about any running WD should bring about that money, unless it has also been run over by a tank or something really wrong.

The wife will always think you're nuts, because that is at least 3 maybe 4 very nice dresses to her! :-)

Good deal. 3pt adapter cost over $400. Does this WD have a straight gear shift.

You did good. The radiator should not cost much over $200 or so if you have to get a new one. Take you wife out for a good dinner and then buy her a couple of nice outfits.

I could use a spare Ensign carb for my dual fuel. Let me know if you want to replace it.
