How heavy a class can a C pull in and be competitive? I have one restored and have nothing for it to do, I would like to pull it but all are local clubs are 3500 and up. Our track is clay, usually fairly hard and dry. It has the orginal 10-24 on it and I have a set of 13.6-26 I can use as well. I have about a ton of wts I can use . I am guessing that it wont do well over 3000 but I might be wrong. Any suggestions? Thanks,JM

I pull a 39 B once in a while in the 3500# class with WC's and its amazing what that little thing will do especially being it only weighs 2600# with 5 suitcase weights. Usually only get beat by a few feet.

Depends what your competing against. I've got a '50 B stock that I pull with (almost the same tractor) that beats all the JD B's I pull against. But theres also a guy that has an oliver 66 thats tuned up real nice and ground down real fine to loose weight...he walks away with it every time. The way I see it, the lighter the better. The lighter class you can get into (in our area its 2000) the better chance you have at winning. 2500 and 3000 are usually good competitive classes for the B depending on what your competing against.
