I am looking for rock guards for this mower, they are stub guards with the number 804848 on them, any suggestions. Thanks, also I'm new to this forum and look forward to using it and getting advice from knowledgeable people.

Welcome to the site Cuttman. I think you can get them at TSC.  Take one with you since they do have different sizes.

You should be able to use universal fit guards from TSC or Farm & Fleet, etc.

Have pail full of them guards. I have the better ones with the hardened seats also, they require work removing them from cutterbar.

Would you be interested in selling some, mine look similar to a triangle with about a 2" long shaft. Not a very good description, sorry. I can't find them anywhere around here. TSC and Farm and Fleet have the rock guards that are about 5-6" long and pointed on the end. I need the guards that are called stub guards.  Thanks

Are those sickle sections not pointed for  those stub guards? I assume they must be, otherwise there would be no protection for there tips. I was thinking you could cut-off some pointed one's??

They are blunt on the front edge about a 1/2". I'm not sure how to post a picture  but would be open to lesrning if you know how to.  That way if you see them you may reconize them and I may be calling them by the wrong name. thanks Gregg
