How did you turn up the pump??

As DR says, there is alot more to turning up the fuel on a DC pump than backing out the torque screw, and bottoming out the leaf springs. The pump needs to be taken apart and shoes of a different dimension need to be installed to add to the roller dimension. Not a job for a beginner. By the way, I run a Black Holley on my 210 Farm puller with a Roosa pump. Good luck.

You might have to go to a Bigger injection pump mhead a 3.1 mm head if you want much more than that we put a surflo electric pump on our 7030 when we used to pull it

You'll have a very hard time matching a good IH1066 with a D21 inj pump. They can make 240-260 HP with larger injector tips and stock inj pump and turbo. 7080 injectors are a step up with .015" holes, but .020" holes are even better. Also setting injectors at 2500-2800 psi will help too, even tho a pump shop will argue the point--just do it.   Removing the pumps internal leaf springs has never caused me one minutes downtime in 35 years and will gain you some fuel output improvement, but a D21 pump is a little small compared to a 220 or even better the Roosa DB450 hyd head that would be more in line with 300 cc's of fuel delivery.....what did they say your pump flowed for cc's??? Also there's waaaay better turbo's out there than a D21 turbo.

Are they any modifications to put 7080 injectors in a D-21 ? Do the lines fit?

just put 7080 nozzle tips in the D21 holder. 74035509. A small improvement, but when you step up more you need to lazer(EDM) the nozzle holes larger. Alot more work involved to put in the am bosch injectors. Ed.
