Like say a 1936 model or before ? Do you know the serial number ? Is it a "Camelback" ?

I had a chance to buy a camel back about 10 years ago for probably less than scrap price. Been kicking myself ever since but it was a long ways away and I didn't have shed room.

I hope someone else chimes in on this one....

I believe the "camelback" was replaced with the model 60.  I don't have my Swinford book handy to confirm this. You are in the right era but I need the A-C bible for years for production, etc.

This is what is reffered to as a "Camelback". I think the 40 is called a "Turtleback". This one belongs to Marion Klutzke. Surely there are more of these out there ?
