Today I bought a box of Allis parts and in it was a flat belt pulley for a b/c. The odd thing is it has a cast center but the rest is aluminum.It looks just like all the rest that i have that are steel. Can anyone tell me more about when and why they used aluminum instead of steel. Thank you
