Hey check this out!

If everything is legit, this is a fairly decent starting price for only the 146th D-21 made.
Looks really stright, and fairly clean for it's age.

Good Luck!!

Wouldn't it be the 147th Built ? His description is wrong about it being the first agricultural tractor over 100 hp too, it was the first row crop tractor over 100 hp.

Unless my math is wrong, 1147, less 1001, equals 146.  But I have been wrong before.

Of course this doesn't count the prototypes and various other tractors that may or may not have had a serial number that were not offered for sale.

   I respectfully disagree,
They started at 1001. 1001 was the first tractor, 1147 would be the 147th tractor.

Notice it must have a turbo and not the stock manifold. Wonder if he has all that stuff still. The muffler, air cleaner, and manifold bring good money.

Take care, Darryl
