Ok, I'l bite!

How does increasing the volume of the intake evenly across all cylinders provide more air to only two?

I am being serious, I don't understand the principles involved???

Thanks,

Anthony

SOLD!!

Because the air inlet to the stock manifold is centrally located, air moves more freely into the center cylinders.  Air has a harder time getting to the farther away cylinders therefore reducing hp.  air + fuel = power

I guess I don't fully understand, since the manifold is under pressure, maybe the restriction from the narrower ends is what you are trying to say!

The further you move from the source the less pressure you have even with the short distance in a manifold.  Another issue is the air has more time and distance to build heat reducing pressure (density) even more.

I'd have to see the data that supports the spacer idea on a turboed engine.Theory may not be reality.

It opens up the intake more so number 1 and 6 have a larger space to get air into them instead of pushing it through a little space it doubles it. Make sense?
