I am looking to restore my dads first new tractor he bought new. It was a 200 with factory cab. I was just wondering if any one had pictures of one new or restored? Also is their any fix to the 3 gear? I know it is out and was wondering if their anything i can do to update it when i replace it. Thanks for the help.

go to page 7 (or may be 8or 9 soon), and there is a post titled "200 ready for 12 row planter". There is a pic of a very nicely restored 200 on that post. Welcome to the forum. Darrel

Depending on what year of 200 it is there will be some differences in the decals and the cabs.  The true fix for a third gear problem is a transmission tear down to see what is wrong.   You can do some quick fix things to keep it in gear but they are not a real solution in my opinion.

This is my Uncle David's 200 being delivered new off the truck in 1975.  His 200 was a 1974 model.

This is Dad's 200, not when new, but it shows the differences in the cab and the stripes under the "200" on the decals.  Dad's is a 1972 model.

Like OldDoug says, best thing to do is tear down the transmission.  It can be a combination of worn shift fork, worn 3rd gear, or bad bearings on the input shaft.  Do this BEFORE painting!
