D15II head bolt question

Guys when I pulled the 15II head only one bolt had a washer. Can you tell me what ones if any need washers and what kind of washers also; I think the one was brassy looking. And also several were only finger tight! Thanks, Dana

On my D15 II the head bolt with the washer was directly above the carburetor

Dana, There is only that one bolt with washer. Goes in center of head. I ordered one for mine from AGCO. Pretty expensive as I remember. HTH Tracy Martin

Dana use never seize on the bolt / stud threads any washers and the nut bearing surface.  Its a good practice to get a even bolt stretch torque and sometimes it acts as a thread sealant.
