Howdy all.
My WD45 has a non-original radiator cap.
the guy i bought it from said someone told him it was a non-pressure type of radiator, where other people told him differently.

Anyone know how to tell?
I also see from Agco, a 4 lb and 7 lb cap available. Not sure which way to go, depending on whether the radiator should be under pressure or not.

My WD parts tractor has different type of cap (the way the tabs are on the cap).

Any thoughts/suggestions?

Thanks.

According to my manual, it is a 4 lb. system

My WD45 manual says it is a 7 lb. cap.   When I had a 4 on it I would sometimes get some overflow out the overflow tube when it was warming up and the thermostat opened. I had my radiator cleaned out and pressure checked so I knew a 7 should work. Changed to a 7 lb. and have not had any problems. But 4 should work OK too and be less pressure to cause a leak somewhere in the radiator or hoses.
