Little back ground. I at first had a WD that I played with and sold. I have been with out an Allis for about 6 months and going nuts. Today Neigbors next to my farm call and say they are selling out. They new I liked Allis Chalmers so they asked if I would be interested in their D17 Series IV. I said sure I would come look at it and see if it was in my price area. Since birth a child number 4 and gas prices I have not been looking real hard.

Any Way I have used this D17 before and know it runs great also had ROPs and canopy, Factory 3-Point wide front end and is in pretty good shape. They said package deal the D17, a year old Land Pride 6 foot brush mower, grader blade and Hay Spear plus all the weights $2800.00   So needless to say she is sitting at my farm now!!!!.. Will post pics Sunday PM....

Series IV is also set up for back hoe. I need to put new Voltage regulator on it but they said something about sparking some wires when you do it i have no idea what they mean.
Like I said got this plus year old bush hog hay spear and big grader blade. I need to figure how to adjust the seat  since it but my belly into the steering wheel

They're probably talking about "Polarizing" the generator system. To polarize, you simply momentarily touch the "BATT" and "ARM" terminals with a piece of heavy wire.
