I found a set of neat rims but they have old 13-36 tires on.   I think new size would be 14.9 x 36.   How hard is this size to come by?   I'd hate to buy a set of rims and then find out that I can't find new tires to put on them.

Call up CFI in Des Moines. Check Gemplers, Nebraska Tire, and Miller Tire on line. Download catalogs from Titan, Goodyear, Continental, and Firestone. See if any list them and what they want for prices. I think you won't find much.

My Goodyear tire handbook downloaded about 2006 shows only a 11.2 -36 in bias ply, nothing in radial.

Nebraska tire has 12.4 and 13.6 - 36. The last priced at $429 each.

Miller Tire has from 7.3 to 13.6 in 36" tires. The last priced at $450 each.
