what kind of a job does a 770 air champ planter do?  are they an alright planter? do they do well with todays seed?  what are the population limits?

The biggest drawback I have is the size on the bean plates.  Most of today's seeds are so small you end up with doubles in the holes.  You can get any population you need as long as you have the right sprockets.  The flat chain on the "77" units make it tough to find replacement sprockets.

They work pretty good, dad used to use one all the time when he was farming, never had anything to say about it other than the usual maitnence
