I have this CA shift lever to sell, As noted in pictures it is "bent", I'm asking a silly question [ mind does not remember well anymore] I assume it is suppose to be straight, correct? Thanks for help. PS. OK to heat [lightly] and straighten??

Well if Im right the little thing on top thats "bent" is not sposto be there the ball that it is conected to is the real top of the lever. The top peice is a homemade add on.

The unpainted end goes inside the trans and is not supposed to be bent like that...

You do not have to use heat ,just stick in hole and bend back . They are tough. I restored and custimzed a B and had to bend that lever almost like one on a D14 and i bent it cold.
