  I hope the pics come through... Has anyone tried to make one of these? Where and on what does the bar pivot on? You can tell the workings of the rest of it, but where is the pivot point? | It pivots on the top pin in the first picture. When the plow hits something the snap coupler bell gets pulled backwards. The bottom pin in the picture hits the small plate, pivots the fork at the top forward and kicks out the hand clutch. AaronSEIA |

We had them to sell but did not. Even though our area was a red clay rock country. The only heavy duty rock we ran into was in Mt. Hope. A Catholic home near Pikesville MD. The rocks were so plentiful and big that we had to sell them a disk plow. The release on the moldboard plows just kept breaking loose after hitting rocks.

Michael; I have one for a WD laying around here some place. You need to get some time off next fall for my plow day. hint-hint. lol

Word of caution. I have one of these on my WD45. If you plow in third gear, and hit a rock you WILL hit the steering wheel with chest or teeth. Either one is painful. Experience speaking. If you can pull a three bottom plow in third gear, you can pull four bottoms in second. ------------- Most problems can be solved with the proper application of high explosives. |

My dad was pulling a loaded wagon uphill once when the front tire of the wagon hit a hole. The shock caused the plow trip to pop the hand clutch out of gear even though the wagon did bounce through the hole. With the handle in neutral, the only way then was backwards. He jerked the hand clutch back into gear and everything jolted to a dead stop. |
