look at the newest addition to the fleet! let me know what you think. In the picture I have already removed the floorpans, and steam cleaned the tractor.  I have never see so much greasy crud on a tractor in my life! Next step fix the rear end, spiders must be bad,  without the difflock button down, the tractor does not move and makes all kinds of bad noises. does anyone have any pointers as how to go about such a fix?

Good rubber, reasonably straight tin. That could be a sharp tractor with some paint, a seat and maybe a chrome stack. Nice find!

You can drain all the rearend oil (3 drain plugs) and completely remove the lefthand hydraulic filter assembly and with a flashlite look inside.  Jack up one rear wheel and rotate it to see what's bad. I'd guess you'll be removing the lift arm hsg and both axles to repair any differential problem. Hopefully you'll not need to change out the pinion.

Damn I wish I would have bought that 7030 from my college buddy a few years back, it was a twin to that.
Agreed ED, those are the toughest looking open stations of that era
