7050 with a 670I Allis engine. Don't know what the hp is but it seems to be at least the 156 that an original 7050 engine would have. Picture is taken during a rain and I just parked in my not yet finished shed. It's been a great tractor for me.

190XT was turned down to 115hp many years ago when it was originally set up in its current configuration with precleaner and larger turbo.Hoping they have dyno capable of testing her at tractor show this year.Last time I tried, they wouldn't test anything they suspected was over 100hp.

Couple miles up the road from me, a guy has a 38 John Deere A set up for pulling. It will turn 140 on the dyno, course burning airplane fuel with a few other major modifications. Still sounds the same though, if not a little louder. All that money into his machiend and my grandpa would always beat him with his stock 38 AR on WW2 stamped "turkey track" tires

Not real sure, either a 7060 AC or D8H Caterpiller. or possibly the 980B loader. Don't know what the flywheel rating on the old 8 is.
|
Posted By: chllngr528
Date Posted: 15 Mar 2011 at 6:09pm
I think the hp on the d8 is like 190. I could very well be wrong.
I am almost certain that a d7 of that era is 160.
Is that a D8H? I thought that D8Hs were high tracks.
|
Posted By: Dans 7080
Date Posted: 15 Mar 2011 at 6:18pm
chllnger528, The D8H started at 225HP and progressed to 270 at the end of production. The 8H and 8K had the low tracks, The first high track was the 8N. The 980B loader had 260HP throughout there production.

We can do a real nice attitude adjustment on a 1586 IHC, LOL
This is a late 1968 model D8H, powershift, turbo, still has the pony motor starter.

whoops I stand corrected.
I was under the assumption that the 8 would have the same model numbers as the 7 because a d7h is a high track. Thanks

Would probably be a close tie between my 7580 and my 8070 FWA, cept the engine is out of my 8070 now, so I guess the 7580 is the most powerful one I own. Darrel
