I received a packet of info in the mail from the Salem Hospital Foundation as an update to their 2010 activities and it included a donor list of those who had contributed.  It was nice to see the good size list of gifts given in the name of our good friend Barb Carbaugh.
I miss Barb's posts and contributions.  Tony, Barb is still remembered and missed.

Me too, I can't look at the butter churn on my kitchen shelf without thinking of Barb. Sadly, it was the only conversation we ever had. Such a nice lady.

She was a gem. I had the honor to have Tony and Barb come to our show and hang out and also went to there place and had breakfast together. She was one special lady.

Thanks for sharing and a reminder.

Take care, Darryl

I will always miss her enthusiasm and encouragement she always gave me for my work. A first class lady all the way.

Tony : I was thinking of that a little while back but did not want to say anything to bring up something that might hurt.
I exchanged quite a few e-mails with Barb as it seems your family and mine shared a few common things and seemed to fit into same age. A wonderful person and had to be a great friend as well as a part of a wonderful family.  Seemed her problems came second to her and to help others was the first priority she held dear. A loss all of us feel but one only you are touched so deeply by the loss.

Do not stand at my grave and forever weep.
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn’s rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and forever cry.
I am not there. I did not die.
