Sorry for putting it on this site but is there somewhere I can go to to tell me EXACTLY how to download pics onto this site?  I've just spent over a hour trying to do it and am ready to quit.  It shouldn't be all that hard but I can see nothing anywhere on the site showing and telling how to do it.
Thanks, sorry I'm so frustrated!

Okay, Let's do this.

For Uploading Pics Straight From Your Desktop PICS WILL VANISH WHEN YOU HAVE TO DELETE THEM DUE TO STORAGE
  1. Click the post reply button at the bottom of the screen
  2. Click on the picture of the tree in the top gray toolbar
  3. Click on the BROWSE button in the bottom left corner of the newly opened window.
  4. Choose the file you are wanting to upload and double click on it.
  5. Now click the UPLOAD button on the Image Properties window.
  6. Click preview
  7. If the size is how you want it click the OK button. (to change size quickly just enter new dimensions)
  8. YOUR DONE!!!

For Uploading Pics VIA Image Hosting Site (Imageshack, etc.) PICS WILL NOT VANISH FROM TOPICS WHEN YOU HAVE TO DELETE THE ONES FROM THE PREVIOUS METHOD

Let's use Imageshack because it is what I'm most familiar with. (It's good to have 2 tabs)

  1. Go to http://www.imageshack.com - www.imageshack.com
  2. Upload your pictures and you can re-size them there if you want
  3. After you hit the upload button it will bring you to a page with thumbnails of you uploads
  4. Click on a thumbnail. It should make it full size
  5. Copy the URL that comes up in the address bar
  6. Now go back to the AC site and click on the Post Reply button
  7. In the Image Properties window paste the URL you copied into the box labeled IMAGE URL:
  8. be sure to get rid of the http:// that was there before you pasted the new URL
  9. Click Preview
  10. Click OK
  11. YOUR DONE!!!!

After I hit the insert image (little tree) then I hit browse and go to my pictures I then left click on the pic I want and then right click and a list of options comes up, left click on edit then there is either a skew or resize option that I click on and reduce to 33% and that size works well.

I use photo bucket, you type your text and then go to the photo bucket website were you store and down loaded your pictures to and click on the drop down box select the one says "IMG Code" click on it will say copied go back to yor message and hit contol "V" and it will show text, go to the post preview button click on that and your picture should now be able to be seen. You can adjust the size of you picture using photo buckets software but thats for another day and lesson. Play with it and you will find this is a very easy way to post pictures.
