2,000 PSI w/ even spray pattern

The spray is  conical spray with a fog in the center at 4 inches from tip. - 2000 with calibration oil, Think it was 2300 when testing with diesel fuel.
 If it does not drip at 1700, its considered good - at least thats what the old book said.

This is a cutaway WD45Diesel head of David Ferguson's we had under the tent at Hutchinson.  We had it hooked to a tester and got the camera to snap at the right time.

It's amazing those old diesels ever ran why without any valves, and most of the fuel going out the other side of the head?!  :)

Tom, thats kind of what it does look like, but the ones I checked would chatter as pressure was built up, the spray you have looks like a hard handle push to get the time long enough to snap the picture. ... But that pic is still way cool, I really like it.

ive always wondered what it looked like, we just did my dads 45 diesel injectors they all tested around 2100 to 2200 psi with new tips

That is lots more fuel than a running tractor would use on one injection for sure.  We took several tries to get that picture, it was fun when we got one to turn out.  Thanks.  Tom
