I think you have to many numbers. Norms book tells us that 1977 started the run with 1001-1316, 78 1317-2731, 79 2732-3841, 80 3842-4709, and 81 4710-5209

I got the numbers from the right door jam. Is that the number for the tractor or just the cab. If this is the wrong number then where is the tractor number?JP

No sorry. There was a sticker tag that by now has weathered away or has been painted over at the back of the left hand frame rail beside the fuel cap. The number is stamped in the rearend housing over the PTO. Does it have a PS trans?
