Since I bought my first AC a little over a week ago I've wondered if I got a good deal. This ad I saw on Craigslist about a WD makes me feel much better about my purchase. I paid the same thing and my WD is at least running and has a pretty new battery with great tires all around. Whew, now I just need to share this good news with my wife....

This is a Allis Chalmers WD wide front it is not running but it is free. The caberator and starter are missing, the magneto is inside out of the weather but is included. The sheet metal is in good condition, the fenders and rear tires are rough.
I do have a seat for it. The rear rims appear to be in good condition. If you have any questions please call 720-383-1572

Well except for the fenders, she seems pretty striaght.  I would offer somewhere around $400.00 since it is close.  But then my garndpa's estate still has 5 of them ol WDs, I will get one of his probably.

It appears to me that it is missing the transmission shift lever.

I had a long talk with the seller, Aaron, this evening.  It's more or less sold.  Told him about this site, he got two WD's for the price of a camshaft for another WD he is restoring for his wife.  He mostly collects Oliver but got the WD because it was his wifes uncles.  I'll hopefully get a set of rear wheels and rims - if they are the same as on a D17.  The rims have some cancer around the valve stems but I should be able to fix that.

If I am not mistaken the WD rims are narrower than the D17 rims.  I have been looking for D17 rims.  They will work, the bolt patern is the same, but not as wide.
