WHAT IS THE WEIGHT OF A d17 WITH FLUID IN THE REAR TIRES?

Well, it depends on what age/series of D17.....gas or diesel.....wide front or narrow front.....3 pt or snap coupler....what size of rear tires and if they are FULL of fluid or half full, etc..........somewhere between 5000 and 6000 lbs.

My '59 D17 gas, wide front, and no weights with 16.9-28s loaded weighs 5800. With 15.5-38s on pressed steel not loaded it weighs 5000.

Mine is a series 1 wide front with 18.4`s with fluid and weighs in at about 6300#

My 58 weighs about like Dans 7080 D17 does. Mine has no power steering but has 16.9x28 with fluid and no weights. My brothers 59 equipped the same but with power steering is about the same. Used to pull with these tractors.
