What is your up most favorite tractor ( model and make or just make) of any brand?
I think mine is a Allis Chalmers wd-45 just because they were an allis trademark and they seem just about one of the handest tractors with the built in hydrolics and lift systym the olny thing i would add is a 5th gear road speed.

i think i would have to go with my d14 bc of the powersteering and the powershift. i dont like the setup of the wd45 as much as the d series. i would rather have the options on my d14 than have 10 more horse with a wd45.

My favorite tractor I own would be my 38 WC but my favorite tractor I have driven for working would be my friends Case IH Magnum 7120, it has cold A/C, easy to reach controls, air ride seat and 4 wheel drive I drove it pulling a John Deere 750 No-Till Drill for 15 hours straight and I wasn't even tired or sore when I got done.

I don't know how many times I have answered this question but it is always fun. As you all know my favorate is the B. It was one of the three units that made Allis Chalmers. In our area it was an outstanding seller and in it's time it was light years ahead of the competition. I know by today's standards it is sadly lacking in many of the newer features but it sure made my father's dealership.

My favorite would be the 35WC although I have never driven her. She has been hauled on a trailer tore apart and put back together. I should get a chance to drive her this spring so maybe I could hook up the old No2 plow I bought 2 years before I got the tractor. I guess if I need to plow snow, my favorite is the WD45 with power steering, If I was going to plow dirt, I always liked the CA but she's down right now. Then the last couple years I have used the 38 to mow with and that is one of my favorite things to do to keep busy. I guess if I want to ride around the property to look things over I like the G. I suppose others have more than one favorite.

D17 series IV with factory 3pt is my favorite for sentimental reasons, but it would still hold it's own against say a new Kubota of similar hp without FWA.
But my favorite working tractor is my 8050. I's a 1984 with powershift and FWA and it's as modern as competetors tractors nearly 20 years newer.

Can't pick 1, have several favorites for different reasons. It would have to be between the 34 WC on full steel, Speed Patrol or the WF.

I really like running the 7580 but my currant fave is my Kubota M110 for all around usability. All the bells and whistles AND it's ORANGE!

200 AC. That 2900 has gobs of power and all the controls are all on the right side within easy reach.
I think my ultimate tractor would be a D19 3-point hitch, 2900 engine, narrow front. That would get rid of the hard starting energy cell diesel engine but retain the good looks and the manual power director over the 190. I personally prefer the narrow front tractors also. The narrow fronts are just more maneuverable and they are not the death traps everbody makes them out to be ( lets face it, when your're on a hillside with a wide front and the tractor starts to go, by the time the front axle hits the axle stops you're beond the point of no return anyway).

Well, I grew up on WD45s so they are my sentimental favorite. For all around work tractor my D17 IV with 3pth and then my 7060 is the first tractor that I have owned with CAH. I know, I know, 3 different tractors, but 3 different eras. guess that means I have been around for a while.

Daren't say it on here, but the old Allis 20-35 comes very near to that Case LA (whoops - now I've let the cat out of the bag!) as a favourite.

WD45 WFE because it was the first thing I learned to drive, and loved every hour I spent on it. A close second is the D17 series IV. Dad taught me to plow in 1969 and I spent many a long night plowing with the world to myself listening to WLS out of Chicago. Driving that tractor, listening to that unique sound they make and the rock of that era is so ingrained in my soul that I can remember it like it was yesterday. I thank God that I was born into a farm family!

Well, I believe that answer has to do more with what generation your from. For me it was the 45. Reasons again are based on what we had before and what came afterwords. The 45 at the time; had power, hydraulics, power-shift wheels, good fuel economy. Also the mounted equipment and traction boost/draft control.

Allis 7080 Black Belly with stadium package. Has gobbs of power, not bad on fuel for amount of work it does and is a pulling son of a gun. Just wish it had FWA.
