I am new to the forum.  This is a great website.  I hope to have a few more photos up if the snow would quit falling.

Allis 6080

I grew up on my grandpa’s farm on the Utah Idaho border that has been in our family for over 120 years using an Allis WD and a Massey Harris super 101 working 100 tillable acres. Both tractors retired in the late 70s and are waiting for me to restore them.  We eventually bought a D17 and 185 and a 6080.  After leaving the farm when I younger, I was able to buy the farm from my grandmother a few years ago and now find it good therapy to be sitting back on a tractor tearing up some soil or cutting hay.

Welcome to the forum!!  When you start to restore those Orange ones, this is the place to ask questions if you need help!  Or parts, or whatever.  Just a good site to say hi and while away the hours too.  Ted

Welcome to the Orange! Nice tractor you have there.  It seems that AC was a pretty good seller in the northern Utah, southern ID area at one time.

Welcome!  It is always good to see another orange fan on board.  I am especially intersted when you talked about your original tractor the WD.  I know you will give it a good restoration job.  After all it is YOUR GRANDFATHER's TRACTOR and the first tractor you were associated with.
Again Welcome.  We look forward to seeing pictures of another Allis Chalmers restoration.
Good Luck!
