I was wondering if i need to add weight on the front of my D17 for plowing, im planning on pulling 3 14's in really rocky ground. I am makeing a bracket on the front and im wondering if i should make it so i can add weight or if i dont need too. thanks steve

Add a rock box to the front , add weight as you need it, much cheaper than buying front wheel weights. A d17 in anything other than sticky clay should sing pulling 3-14's, you may not need any additional weight on the front.

Go slow when plowing in rocky ground! If you are moving quickly ans a share goes under a large rock, the front end of the tractor can come off the ground VERY quickly. Ask me how I know this.
